[image]jenhedgehog_225815 829.gif[/image] Year 2004, already?! 2003 HAS to be the quickest year ever for me. It's been good, though... After all, it was the year I left school. Passed all 11 GCSEs that I took (1 A, 6Bs and 4Cs - ph33r ;P)! Also, I got nominated for the Best Artist Award in TSS Site Awards (and came 4th, go me) ^.^ It was certainly a year for achievements; and one I won't forget in a hurry. Here's hoping that this year will be that good, too.

[image]jenhedgehog_225815 829.gif[/image] Had a great Christmas! ^_^ I got: Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (GCN), Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA), Space Invaders (PS1), Blue: Guilty (CD), Justin Timberlake: Justified (CD, which I'm listening to right now ^_-), Enrique: 7 (CD), chocolate, a t-shirt, a jacket, some bath and shower gel, some jewellry, and some other cool stuff ^.^ It's been nice to have some time to completely relax and forget about College ;P I don't have to go back until January 5th, which is cool.
Hehe, gotta love the after-Christmas sales - there's loads of games selling cheap now ^_^ Got Sonic Pinball Party today, and it was only £20 :D It's a cool game, but kinda difficult (maybe that's 'cos I've not really played many pinball games before). Hopefully I'll get some more games in the sales soon... ^^

Wow, I can't believe it's Christmas soon! Can't wait ^^ I'll hopefully be getting two or more of the following games:
- Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (GCN)
- Viewtiful Joe (GCN)
- Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup (GCN)
- Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA)
- Banjo-Kazooie (GBA)
I'll also be getting some CDs (hopefully - Blue: Guilty, and Justin Timerlake: Justified ^^) and some surprises. Oh, speaking of Christmas: I started my annual Christmas drawing today - it's only a half-finished sketch ATM, but it looks pretty cool ^.^ I should have that finished in a few days...

I've had a lot of College work, and most of my spare time has been spent playing video games, posting on message boards, and spriting - The Sonic Battle ROM is out now, and as people have been ripping the sprites, I've been editing 'em ;P
I got my new PC a few weeks ago, which is SO cool! ^_^ And speaking of cool - I came 4th in the The Sonic Stadium Site Awards for Best Artist!! w00t!! I'm really pleased with that ^__^ I really should do some more art when I get chance - I've got an insane amount of requests to do o_o
Random note: I've turned commenting on my Blog for a while. Not quite sure why - just seemed like a good idea ;P

Nothing much happened today really. Played Sonic Adventure DX earlier, for the first time in ages, and I unlocked my favourite Game Gear game (which I've not played for years due to my GG breaking), Sonic Triple Trouble ^_^ It's one of my favourite Sonic games ever, and now I can play it again, so I'm happy about that! :D
Oooh y4y, Mario Kart Double Dash is released on Friday! I'm really looking forward to getting it ^__^ I'm a bit annoyed about it though - if you buy it bundled with a Gamecube console, you get this awesome disc with some of the old Zelda games on it, but if you just buy the game on it's own you don't get the Zelda disc ;_; I really wanted that, too...
Hm, College tomorrow. I hope I didn't have any work to do, 'cos if I did then I haven't done it =p I've not felt like doing an awful lot this weekend really, 'cos I haven't been feeling too good x_x

Well, back to College tomorrow. That's not a bad thing really, 'cos I like it - it's totally different to school (thank God =p), so it's cool :D I got one of my essays done today anyway, and some other random work. The rest of the work I need to do (including another essay) doesn't need to be done until Thursday, so I have plenty of time to do it ^^
Uh... that's it, I guess. I have no idea what else to say right now, so I'll leave it at that ^^;;

Been playing video games all day today (when I've not been online) ;P I'm doing really well on Soul Calibur II - in Weapon Master Mode, I'm at level 68 now ^_^! And on Super Mario Bros. 3 I'm on World 7, but it's uber-hard... Oh well, I like a challenge ^^;
[Random thought] Oooh, it's Halloween soon ^.^ I never do alot for it - just scare myself by watching horror movies =p I sometimes draw a Halloween pic (like my annual Christmas pic ^_-), like this year (click [url=http://www.sonicspin,net/staff/jen/art/HappyH alloween.png]here[/url] for it ^^). It's like winter already. Anyone'd think it was Christmas in the next few weeks or something, y'know - all the shops around here have got Christmas stuff in them already, and it's SO cold!
Ooooh, speaking of Christmas - I'm getting a new PC as an early present!!! ^__^ I've known for a while, but I chose which one I'm gonna get earlier today :D It'll have an 80 GB hard drive, 2 GHz processor (I think... or was it 2.2 GHz?), over 200MB RAM, DVD Drive (w00t!), and Windows XP! y4y, it's sooo much better than this old Windows 98 PC! The hard drive's 4 times as big, and 'cos of all the RAM and the fast processor, it shouldn't crash as much as this one does (lol, I tend to over-load it sometimes 'cos I have too many programs running all at once =p)!! Can't wait! ^^ I dunno what else I'll get (actually at Christmas, not earlier), but I know I'll get some video games (I always do ;P) *is happy* ^___^

Geez, my neighbours have been at it all day, with what sounds like one continuous bass-line... I don't normally get angry about stuff like this (I'm normally a pretty calm, laid-back person really, and I most certainly don't get mad easily - sure, I used to, but I've changed a lot in the past few months...), but this is insane. It really is. This is the third lot of neighbours I've had that does this, and I'm tired of it. 2 was enough, but a third... No-one should have to put up with that. This isn't fair at all :( Why can't people have a bit more consideration - I mean, it'd be nice if I could have a bit of quiet when I want. I'm not a bad neighbour at all (I understand that people want some quiet in their own houses, unlike a lot of people round here...), yet I get people who are unbelieveably (sp?) loud living in the house next to me. Why me? =/ *sigh* I'll stop ranting now, it's boring for you to read, and I don't like getting mad like this anyway...
y4y, that rant sure calmed me down alot ^^; Seriously though, if you've never had to live next to people like that, you won't understand how damn annoying it is (it's one of the few things that I REALLY hate...). On a lighter note, I made a header for my Blog today, as you can see ^_^ I'm quite pleased with how it looks. Not done a lot else today, really. The main reson for that is I was feeling ill earlier, 'cos I've got a cold starting x_x; Not too bad now though ^^

Been playing Sonic 2 a lot today, as we have a competition on Sonic Spin to see who can clear Emerald Hill in the fastest time. My best time so far is 33 seconds, which is crap compared to what everyone else has =p Oh well, doesn't matter too much if I don't win, 'cos I won the last competition like this that we had ^__^ (cleared Green Hill from Sonic 1 in 28 seconds; Ph33r =p)

Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing :| Hopefully they won't be bad like the people who were there before the person who just moved out, as they were NOT the kind of people you'd wanna live next door to (I REALLY don't wanna have to put up with music at 3am nearly every morning again, like they used to have; I do have ALevels to study for y'know x_x). Meh...
Anyway, other than that I've been pretty happy today ^^ Been in a video games mood (again), and therefore have been playing Mario Advance 4 and Soul Calibur II non-stop all day =p When I wasn't playing games, I did some more work on a drawing of Amy Rose that I started AGES ago but haven't had time to finish just yet; hopefully, I'll have it finished in the next couple of days though, and then I'll continue to draw the requests I've had ^.^
Must go now - need to check that everything's OK on Sonic Spin ^_^;

Don't expect much interesting stuff to be put here - just random information about video games, college, drawings and sprites I've done, quizzes.... all that kinda stuff ^_- With that said, here's my blog entry for today:
College was t3h cool today; I've got a 2 week holiday now (w00t!) so I'll be doing more drawings and, of course, playing more games ;P On that note: Got Mario Advance 4 (Super Mario Bros 3) today ^__^ I've never played the original Super Mario Bros 3 game, but I'm really enjoying the GBA version :D Not played on it much tonight though, as I've been too busy on MBs online ^^ Not had to ban anyone from Sonic Spin, which is always a good thing =p
Hm, think I'll customise my blog a little now (give it a l33t colour scheme ;P)...
